Watching a loved one battle terminal cancer is devastating, but dealing with Millennium and Dr. Binh Truong in Ft.
Myers, FL, made an already painful situation even worse. If you're looking for a dismissive doctor who talks down to you and seems more focused on pushing medication than genuinely listening, she fits the description perfectly. Asking questions was met with frustration, and genuine compassion was nonexistent.
But the nightmare didnt end there. Millenniums system failed us when we needed them most.
After my mothers diagnosis, they called to inform uswithout warningthat the doctor we were supposed to see was no longer with Millennium. No guidance, no transition planjust a cold message that it was now our problem to find her an oncologist during the most critical time of her life.
Then came the appointment chaos. They scheduled visits that never actually existed, leaving us standing at the office only to be told there was no record of our appointment and trying to reach someone for help. Impossible.
Endless calls, no real answers, and zero accountability.
No one should have to go through this kind of stress while fighting for a loved one's life. If you or someone you love needs genuine care, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere.

In September, 2024, just three months ago, I became a new patient at Millenium Physicians Group, Cape Coral, and I saw Mariel Cairo. I am on a daily dose of levothyroxine for hypothyroid and have been on this medication for many years.
I had lab work done and there were no changes to warrant a change in dose and I was prescribed my medication. I was given a 90 day supply and when I went to try to get a refill, my request was denied. I reached out to Mariel Cairo on patient portal. I received a response that I have to come in if I want my refill.
I have historically been tested every 6 - 12 months and been given refills between labs, prior to coming to this office. This clinic is extorting money from patients and it should not be allowed to continue!
I have now heard the same from other people who have left this clinic for the same reason. I explained all of the above to them via the patient portal and by phone and the only response, once again, was if you want your medication refill, you must come in. They literally want me to have to pay a visit fee and the cost of a RX every three months for a non-controlled substance that I need to take every day, for life, to function at a normal level!
Unbelievable!
No compassion, no understanding, just a money grab! Good riddens Millenium Physicians Group!

Due to past experience, I called my doctor office and asked for someone who spoke English as a first language, as there were translation issues on earlier on cell calls It appears the person who answered got offended because she did not speak English as a first language. She then made false claims Im sure through her office saying that I was being disrespectful towards Mexicans and distorting my words to accusing me of racism and a racist comment she made up in her head.
This Im sure caused disruption in the doctor's office as she pushed her agenda to disrupt fellow employees with her racism/hate . I arrived to my appointment and was then confronted by two Hispanic individuals in a closed room, who threatened to cancel my appointment if I did not sign a document with a false claim of office girl .Then lacking getting important information such a my weight due to time was spent to APPEASE a Office Person who speaks English as Second Language . And appears to be Very Racist and should be DISMISSED from her job . Then threatening me with my Doctor appointment being Canceled .
with these extremely unprofessional acts, they have lost me as a customer. They also included these unfounded accusations in my records to support their erroneous false claim of me being a racist.

My car wouldn't start this am, so I had to take my husband's truck and find the keys for it. I was literally 8 minutes late and Dr.
Hunt REFUSED to see me! Told me I could wait in the lobby for a maybe someone would cancel, but there's no guarantee.
I went there a year ago with severe vertigo & psoriasis, a year and $500 or so later I still have both! They do NOT care about patients only $$$$

I scheduled an appointment at Millennium to renew my scripts. I was not ill, I just needed to see the doctor every 12mos to keep my scripts valid.
That was the only reason for the appointment. When I went to pick up my refill I was told that my prescriptions could not be filled. I called Millenium and was told that the doctor I saw was no longer employed there and that I needed to come in for another appointment. This was less than a month after the previous appointment.
I understood they may have compliance guidelines to follow, and was willing to schedule another appointment, but I was unwilling to pay for another.
They refused.
They insisted on billing me again for the same service that they did not provide the first time. Dont walk - RUN from this place

Stinky service
Ive been nearly 30 year patient always been treated well, until today. My son is here from Maine, the purpose is to take care of me.
On Friday he dropped of a form for dr Durango of the ft. Myers office. After two days of waiting nothing. My son is sitting for the day, is that necessary.
I find this a personal and rude insult.
You have built a. Red tape ***

Place should be shut down proof this country is going to shit.I spend 26000 a year on my family’s health insurance and the care I receive from this organization is something I would expect from a 3rd
I saw the doctor 2 and a half weeks ago and still do not have my prescription I carry a ppo plan with Cigna.I had to call the pharmacy 3 times the dr 4 times the insurance and the dr on 3 way the insurance gave the dr 2 prescription that they would approve and faxed it to the dr all the dr had to do was pick one and send it to the insurance. I call the pharmacy the next day to see if they sent anything over .No they didnt at least there consistent in doing nothing.I then call the dr office and they tell me my medicine was denied by my insurance and that 2 other options were given by my insurance that I was ok with and that you know that because we were all on a 3 way call together yesterday .
So why have you not sent one of the two meds to insurance for approval.They said well the dr is not in today that being nurse practitioner Maria . I asked if the other dr can pick one and send it to the insurance they said your dr is Maria only she can .
I said my bill comes from Melenium not Marie.I also aske why didnt Marie pick one yesterday. Because I received a text that the original choice was declined by insurance ad that was at 1pm yesterday.Number one killer in America is stress you go to a physician for better healthcare not a rise in blood pressure and stress because they act like there paying you for the service.Just getting tired of conversations starting off with I m sorry or I apologize.It used to be thank you for your business please come again

Treated me like crap
Treated me like crap. Told me my pain was anxiety, then was told pain is drug withdrawal.
Never touched drugs ever. Now have proof from another dr pain isn't only real but extremely serious.

If you enjoy sitting in a doctor's office for a long time, or if you enjoy spending a great deal of time in an office, my doctor is certainly the one for you. He seems out of touch with his patients.
He takes care of charging work while I sit in a room for half an hour, waiting for him to finish. He does this to all his patients. Instead of preparing the night before so he can see even more patients, he makes all of us wait on him. Then at times, he ends up overbooking due to poor planning.
I had a fungal infection on my toe and he was supposed to write a prescription for it. It's been 2 months now, and he still hasn't done so. This past Friday, the 19th, I was in the office.
After half an hour, I walked by his office. He was sitting there, working on his computer, and I simply left.

Poor customer service
Since moving to SW Florida I have had horrible experiences with the employees of Millenium Heathcare. Im tired of dealing with rude physicians and staff.
I deal in customer service, but have never witnessed rude employees and have no desire to return to be treated poorly. I will tell any new patients to seek health care else where.

Hospitals, Clinics and Medical Centers Expert Talks
No Communication.
Various tests are ordered and the results come to me through a portal with no discussion with my doctor or PA about the results.
Most recent experience was a calcium scoring test taken last week. Results were forwarded through the portal and that was it.
No contact from the Doctor or his office. I received a prescription notice from my pharmacy for a heart medication, again, no explanation from my primary. Same day, I get a phone call from imaging to do an echocardiogram. The following day I received a phone call from a cardiologist's office trying to schedule me in.
All of this is happening with no contact from my physician or his office. If my condition doesn't kill me, lack of interaction with my physician will.

Impossible group frustrating, and ridiculous
The telephone Rep actually just hung up on me said Im sorry theres nothing I can do to help you goodbye and hung up.
I dont know how my friend ever got an appointment with the cardiologist because I cant get to first base. I called up a year ago they said very coldly you need a referral from your primary doctor mine was out of town.
I had to wait for him to come back. Make an appointment go in get a referral and have it faxed over there. Period I called back a week later they didnt have it. I had to do it again.
I called back a few days later she said it takes three weeks to get into our system
I thought she was joking.
I called back the following week and she said we have it will call you to make an appointment.
I said its been six weeks since I first called. You cant make an appointment now and she said no this is how we operate.
I think I called again, but that was a year ago.

( if I was sick Id prob be dead by now.)
So I put an ad on Facebook looking for a heart doctor and they give me a number of a wonderful doctor and when I call up to my horror, its the same office all over again just a different doctor
THE WHOLE THING STARTS AGAIN
When I explain the story to the phone, Rep, he has zero empathy explains his position and then hangs up on me

I have an issue with billing that I wish to discuss with a management level employee. I have tried to call and get the que runaround, leave a message and am told it will talk "two" days to call me back.
That is "TOTALLY" unprofessional. Two days is outrageous. I just got a call that said they would "try" to contact me with "three" business days.
Thank goodness I think my doctor is good or I would be gone in an insistence, but I would guess that means nothing to a company your size. I anyone within the company has any integrity please contact me.
