No mask worn by staff

At the moment Im battling cancer I go for treatments every day I have to go to get my blood work done at millennium while I was there some staff in the back was not wearing masks the girl at the counter was not wearing mask my question is, does millennium physicians group really care about my health

Lab Experience

I had a 10:00 appointment for routine fasting lab work. I was seen at 11:30. The process was very disorganized and slow. The office was backed up with no room for social distancing. The workers were frustrated and stressed. For each appointment 5 or more people are scheduled for the same time slot. I will go to Quest from now on.

Dissatisfied service

I had an appointment for a blood draw at 7:50 AM. I was checked in and was waiting to be called back for the draw. In the mean time two people came in and said they didn't have appointments and was checked in. The first people was called back and I didn't say anything and now it's 8:15 and they call back the second person and now I say I had an appointment at 7:50 and the woman looked and said I was not on her schedule and then walked up to the front desk and the receptionist showed her my appointment on the screen but still told me I would have to wait for the next available phlebotomist and took the other person back. The person she took back was having another test other then a blood draw so then she called me back.She said she would have to put my information in manually and that took 20 seconds, asked what arm and I said left she took the alcohol rub and without saying anything stuck the needles and took the blood told me to hold the cotton ball, she wrapped it and that was it not another word. I said I hope you don't think I was being rude I just needed to get to work myself. She just said have a good day quite rudely and walked over to the front desk and started whispering in the receptionist ear.I understand this was an oversight that only needed to be rectified with some kind of acknowledgment or understanding of what happen, but instead it was met with rudeness. I work with the public and have made mistakes throughout my career some of them not my fault but the big different is I apologize and try to make it better for the client

My God people do not use these people unless you want to die. There portal is a joke. They tell you they well get back to you in one day. Iv'e waited 7 days for a answer, and still did not get my question take care off. These people are the biggest joke ever. Had blood work done two weeks before to see my doctor. He never got the results,because they forgot to send it over. I'm telling you these doctors are the biggest joke around. I will never step into one of there places again. EVER

Billing process

I dont unthersthan mellium why they ask somuch monney .and . some Bill's suppose to be last year ..and I was surprised 3 weeks ago they sent me a bill for last years is almost a years ..when i visit to them......that's why I change my provider ..because ..if iam not mistaken one day visit for physical..I clearly .said that .just physical because i dont want to pay extra.or out my pocket...for one day. visit they charge me somuch monney out of my pocket even i have a insurance....that's my regret ..I visit ones that mellenium and .. never.going back anymore because of poor billing system...

Terrible healthcare

Now their making people wear masks to get lab test done. These masks don't provide any protection from viruses. After complaining about pain in my legs for 4 years I was finally sent for ultrasound CT scan and an x-ray. Then was preferred to a vascular surgeon for stents to be put in my legs but by that time it was too clogged up and they couldn't even put in the angiogram. The surgeon told me as it last resort they would put in tubes if I get gangrene.

Charging credit card without permission

I have Humana Choice and United of Omaha Insurance. This group took without my knowledge or permission close to $700.00 out of my credit card. They said I gave them permission however I did not. They said they e-mailed me for permission and they sent request to an e-mail which was about 10 years old and abandoned. What happens if I can't pay my bills or insurance policy due to this extreme dishonesty? This is going on several months and I got stuck paying interest on this BS. Stay away from this group and never let them have your credit card number!

They did this to me also! I was advised to file formal complaint however declined seeing Millennium has the monopoly for care in Charlotte county.

We have no choices here. Cochran Clinic not only robs you but have disgusting Drs and treat Pts like dirt.

Doesn't do any good to complain to us. You need to complain direct to the doctor and also to whomever is in charge of that medical group.

Look up the CEO online or anyone associated with that group in a position of power and start complaining. You can also go to your state's main website and find the agency that licenses medical providers and file a complaint.

Our Dr. changed after joining Millenium.

Several years ago an employee at my Dr's. office said the Dr. had to go with Millennium because he needed to make more money. He had been our Dr. for years. After he joined Millennium any complaint we saw him for resulted in an order for some kind of test. Ninety- nine percent of the time tests were done at, you guessed it, a Millennium Lab. He once wanted me to get an MRI for a bulge in my upper arm. It was my bicep! He ordered a colonoscopy for my 84 yr. old husband who fainted after the prep, fell, hit his head and got a brain bleed followed in hours by a massive seizure all related to an unnecessary colonoscopy order as it turned out. Right side was paralyzed. NO speech, swallow, eyes closed for days. Two brain surgeries. Five months later he's in a wheelchair. I can hardly understand him when he speaks. We have to sell our house because he can't live here. And he didn't need the colonoscopy to begin with. I think the Doctors get a kick back for tests they order and send to a Millennium Lab. This doctor used to care. Now it's all about $$$.

Company does not care about employees

To get started I worked front desk for 9 years was recently terminated for what they claimed was a compliance issue. *** Management does not care about employees. They hire new people and pay them more than current employees doing the same job.(Fact) They encourage them not to talk about pay. Lol. They have a cap on front desk pay. Don't care about employee complaints. Talk negatively about patients. NEVER tell you what a good job you are doing, always looking for the bad. Office coordinator has favorites and trust me it shows. Let me end this rant with this I loved my job, loved the patients. Never called out sick. Loved my coworkers and providers (only 1 provider contacted me after this happened, I love you you know who you are). I will miss my friends but not the miserable management that runs Millennium.

I went to my doctor for a Medicare 'Annual Wellness Exam' that was 100% covered with no deductibles, before with the same doctor and as stipulated by Medicare; and was billed $75.00 as a deductible.

I wrote to Millennium, complained on the phone, now it is with a collection agency. I am attempting to have my doctor fix this. If this won't happen then I will pay the $75 and find another doctor. This is an example of the perverse private sector control of health care in the US, where health care is a consumer item, the users to be squeezed, 'as much as the market will bear'. The Great American disease, anxiety.

I am fully insured and they took money without my consent right out of my Discover card! My insurance company has paid them!
